Lernziele
Attitudes:
Students recognize the importance of effective English communication in professional contexts. They acknowledge the value of engaging with authentic English-language materials on topics in corporate communications/content marketing. They appreciate that effective communication requires adapting tone, style, and register to different audiences and purposes, while remaining precise and concise. They approach collaboration and professional correspondence as essential workplace skills.
Knowledge:
Students gain knowledge of strategies for researching effectively in English. They furthermore become familiar with strategies to appropriately structure and successfully deliver professional presentations, lead discussions, handle audience questions, and compose executive summaries and professional emails.
Skills:
Students develop their ability to research in English, selecting, evaluating, and synthesizing relevant information from diverse sources in the field of corporate communications/content marketing. They learn to adapt their communication for different audiences and purposes, and to use effective strategies for presenting, facilitating discussions, and producing professional writing in English.

The following content will be worked on:
Research, evaluation and comprehension skills:
Conducting research and engaging with a variety of authentic English-language source materials related to corporate communications/content marketing
Building comprehensive skills in active reading and listening to critically engage with diverse texts and audio, extract and synthesize key ideas, and apply insights in professional contexts
Oral, written and language skills:
Developing presentation skills by delivering content confidently, with clear signposting, building rapport, and establishing credibility through precise language adapted to professional contexts and objectives
Facilitating discussions and responding to ideas by guiding conversations constructively, engaging participants actively, and managing diverse viewpoints diplomatically to maintain focus and collaboration
Crafting clear, purposeful professional emails tailored to specific audiences, with appropriate tone and structure
Producing concise, impactful executive summaries that highlight key information for decision-making
Applying conventions of Business English, including formality, structure, and professional vocabulary
