  • Fundamentals of Visual Computing
    • Digital images and videos
    • Color models, rasterization, compression
    • Pin hole camera, homogenous coordinates, transformations
    • Representations of images and scenes
    • Lightning, color, material, and textures
  • 2D and 3D visualisation
    • 2D and 3D graphics processing
    • Information Visualization
    • Graphics pipeline and graphics HW (GPU)
    • Geometry representations (Vertices, meshes, CSG, voxels)
    • Creation of 2D/3D models
    • Programming of Web-based 2D and 3D applications
  • Applications of image and video processing
    • Basic image processing
    • Detection of structures and image segmentation
    • Movement analysis in image sequences
    • Object detection (faces)
Lectures are combined with lab work.
