Inhalt The course is included in a programme called “Global Sessions”: Discussions on global challenges affecting social work issues from the respective professional, cultural, political and institutional perspectives.
The working title for the main topic is “Working with Youth in a Global Context: Prospects and Challenges”. There will be different tracks within the programme and it includes keynotes and presentations, international / interprofessional group work and field visits. The participating universities/UAS come from Finland, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Scotland, Lebanon, India and Switzerland and from the fields of social work, political science, public administration and health professions.
The ”Globlal Sessions” will take place 18 – 22 May 2026 in Munich, Germany.

The students are able
  • to work together with the students from other Universities/UAS of different faculties of different countries on a common issue of global challenges
  • are able to come to conclusions by looking at the common topic from the respective professional, cultural, political and institutional perspectives
  • are interested in discussing and working on issues of global challenges in social work from an international and interprofessional perspective
  • are able to discuss with students and lecturers of the different professions and countries
Studierende vom Bachelor und Master in Sozialer Arbeit können dieses Modul belegen. Die Plätze sind begrenzt und die Anmeldung erfolgt daher via Interessensbekundung an master.sozialearbeit@zhaw.ch innerhalb der üblichen Frist. Eine Bestätigung, ob Sie das Modul besuchen können oder nicht, erhalten Sie in der Kalenderwoche 49.
Erforderliche Vorkenntnisse Darf zu jedem Zeitpunkt im Studium belegt werden
