Inhalt
The course is included in a programme called “Global Sessions”: Discussions on global challenges affecting social work issues from the respective professional, cultural, political and institutional perspectives.
The working title for the main topic is “Working with Youth in a Global Context: Prospects and Challenges”. There will be different tracks within the programme and it includes keynotes and presentations, international / interprofessional group work and field visits. The participating universities/UAS come from Finland, Norway, Sweden, Germany, the Basque Country, Lebanon, India and Switzerland and from the fields of social work, political science and health professions.
The “Global Session” will take place Monday, May 24 – Friday, May 28, 2027, in Stockholm, Sweden. In addition, participants will need to allow time for travel to and from the event, which they must arrange on their own. In the 2027 spring semester, we are offering, for the first time, the opportunity to provide financial support for your study trip through a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) organised by SEMP. In addition to some paperwork, this involves a preliminary online meeting with all participating students and lecturers to get to know one another and discuss the topic. This will take place on Thursday 13 May 2027 from 3.30–5.30 pm (subject to change).
