Lerninhalte (Abstract)
This course focuses on current social problems challenging social work in Switzerland and the USA. Current challenges and issues, especially regarding topcs like substance abuse, criminal justice, social welfare, healthcare, and migration will be discussed in a virtual classroom. Students interact with social work lecturers and professionals from both countries to analyze various concepts, strategic approaches, and interventions addressing these challenges. Students reflect on transfer and innovation potential in relation to their professional identity and social work practice.
