Ausgangskompetenzen
Learning Outcome and Competences
Students will learn to
differentiate various aquaculture systems and their characteristics,
explain the concept of operations of an aquaculture (in particular recirculating aquaculture systems) and assess it quantitatively,
name important factors for fish welfare and explain how they are ensured in aquaculture systems.
On a more general level, students
can evaluate concepts of operations,
have in-depth knowledge of technical systems that involve biological and microbial processes,
can explain processes for water treatment,
have experienced the challenges for businesses that are created by a regulatory environment, a competitive situation and ethical principles.
