Short description

 Students are enabled to think (self-)critically and embed technological and social science solutions in economic and social systems, to understand the challenges of the transformation of energy, mobility and resource systems and to substantiate these methodically and technically.

Methodological competence Transformation (Weizsäcker, Geels, Schneidewind), environmental and (socio-) psychological approaches, conceptual approaches to the transformation of socio-technical systems and their application in the most important transformation topicsKonzepte der Nachhaltigkeit: Suffizienz, Konsistenz, Effizienz und ihre Umsetzung in Gesellschaft, Wirtschaft und Unternehmen (z.B. Sharing, Kreislaufwirtschaft, Servicemodelle)

Understanding of the challenges in the transformation of energy, mobility and resource change, technical and non-technical solutions and their application in the context of economic and social systems

Application of environmental, (socio)psychological and behavioural economic approaches to behaviour change and technology acceptance

Political-economic framework conditions as the basis for transformation (e.g. growth compulsion) and their changeability at national and international level (e.g. climate negotiations)
