Module contents

This project module consists of short content impulses and methodological input as well as, in particular, a case study, i.e. the processing of a concrete scientific question in a group under the guidance of the lecturers. The research question comes from research or application in the field of transport and traffic (institutes of the SoE or their commercial partners) and includes topics from previous semesters.

During the course of the case studies, students regularly report on the progress of their work. In a professional final presentation, the problem definition, the work assignment, the division into subtasks, the project implementation and the work results are explained in a comprehensible way. Finally, a blog report and a press release are written.

  • Independent acquisition of scientific knowledge from literature and specialist publications.
