Module Content
The emissions of greenhouse gases will have to be cut down dramatically over the next years in order to mitigate global warming. This has important implications for all companies and local authorities as they will all have to report and actively manage their greenhouse gas emissions. This is true for emissions caused by their own activity as well as for emissions caused by their supply chain.
  • Importance and consequences of GHG-Reporting for companies
  • Reporting Standards, Scope 1 - 3 emissions
  • System boundaries: Company or Product?
  • Development of a climate strategy, key performance indicators (KPI)
  • Legal situation in Switzerland, financial incentives
  • Compensation of GHG emissions (pros and cons, assessment, labels, etc.)
Accompanying the lectures a GHG report for a city will be created based on real data.
