In the spring semester 2020, the seminar will be held in Switzerland. The topic is “Comparative social welfare: US and Switzerland”. Together with students from the US, participants visit different institutions in Zurich that illustrate the social welfare system and related welfare programs in Switzerland. Students interact with social work professionals and have a closer look at concepts, strategic approaches and interventions. They present and discuss selected social work topics from their respective cultural and subject-specific perspective.
