Learning Outcome and Competences
The tutor defines the detailed learning goals in coordination with the module coordinator. The competencies learned in the selected offerings are accompanied by the tutors. After completing the module, students have acquired the fundamentals of their individual specialization topic that prepare for the Master’s Thesis.

Teaching / Learning Methods
The tutor defines in coordination with the module coordinator the teaching and learning methods, which can consist in (but are not limited to):
  • Guided self study with written report
  • External courses and Summer Schools from other universities
  • Virtual courses and e-Learnings from other universities
  • Lectures, workshops, and/or project work in defined modules
  • Exercises and field work
  • Attendance of seminars or conferences

Assessment of Learning
Outcome
The tutor defines in coordination with the module coordinator the assessment of learning goals, the deliverables, and the method of assessment for grading. The grading can be “pass” or “fail”. The proof of achievement is provided at the ZHAW.
