Learning Outcomes and Competencies Students will be able to
  • categorize and solve elementary equations.
  • apply sequences and series in the context of iterative processes and calculate their limits.
  • recognise elementary function types, modify them, combine them, name their properties and apply them to concrete problems.
  • calculate derivatives and use them in the context of extreme value problems and approximation methods.
  • calculate elementary integrals.
