Lecturers Depends on the planned and chosen module content.
Entry Requirements Students should be able to
  • reflect on their strengths and weaknesses in the context of different types of preneurship (intra-, entre-, commonpreneurship) and be aware of necessary complementary skills within a team.
  • Set up individual study goals and plan their Individual Study Journey to achieve those goals.
Learning Outcome and  Competences Students will be able to
  • define personal development goals, select suitable methods and approaches to achieve these goals, and successfully reach them.
  • reflect on the knowledge and competencies gained from trying to reach their development goals and apply this knowledge in the context of their personal development and the constellation of the team in which they are working.
  • impart and communicate the knowledge and competencies they have acquired at a level appropriate to their audience.
  • independently organise their work and the necessary steps for their individual skills module set-up and act in a reflective and considered manner.
  • develop skills independently and self-organised.
Module Content The students put together the development goals, learning outcomes, module content and assessment of their Individual Skills modules individually and per module.

The students are responsible for handing in their Individual Skills module proposals in which they specify, among other, learning outcomes, development goals, module content and assessment methods.  Each module is individually assessed.

The content and the methods needed to develop the desired skills are chosen and acquired by the student. They decide themselves the skills they need and how to acquire them. The assessment takes place at the ZHAW and is coordinated with the module coordinator.

It is essential that students take the initiative in organising themselves.

The following applies as a guideline for the required workload: 1 ECTS Credit corresponds to 30 hours of work.

  • Setting of personal development goals and learning outcomes
  • Development of methods to achieve and assess goals
  • Reflection on the processes
  • Individually selected content and assessment
Assessment of Learning
Outcome		 Predicate (passed / failed) 100%:

The assessment depends on the content of the modules and is coordinated with the module coordinator. Assessment takes place at the ZHAW.
 
Obligatory assessment:
  • Main assessment (various formats possible, must include a self-reflection part) – 100%
  • Contribution to the Individual Skills platform (various formats possible) – mandatory
 
In case of failed assessment, the following options are possible:
  1. The failed assessments may be resubmitted (in case of written work) or a supplementary examination can be carried out (in case of oral assessment). Counts as first attempt.
  2. The failed assessments can be repeated the next time they are scheduled in the regular timetable. Counts as second attempt.
Bibliography -
Language Dependent on the supervisor and the student (ENG/GER)
Comments The student and coach can work together to determine and reflect upon the modules or courses that are to be completed. There are various options open to students to acquire the necessary skills. The student can choose how many modules and what size modules they would like to take within the range of 9-12 ECTS. It is possible for multiple students to work on a group project for Individual Skills. Options and conditions need to be discussed with the module coordinator and / or supervisor
