The students are able to
Process and prepare data from various sensors and devices in (bio-) medicine, e.g. EKG, wearables, X-rays, MRI, etc.
Extract digital biomarkers
To evaluate the quality of the digital biomarkers and to question them critically

The students are able to
Detect problems with real measurements
Process, visualize and interpret time series and image data using computers

Analysis of patient and laboratory data: e.g. prediction of cardiovascular events
Biomarkers from wearables: e.g. blood pressure from EKG
Biomarkers from imaging: e.g. age-related changes in brain MRI images
