Lerninhalte (Abstract)
The Social Europe Days 2024 take place from 13

-17
th
May 2024 in Hasselt near Brussels, Belgium and focus on the topic of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Within this course, you will collaborate in a multi-disciplinary and international team. You will investigate one of the SDGs in a more detailed way, connect it to a good practice example from one of your professional fields and explore the significance of the SDG for you personally and in an European context. An intercultural evening and excursions to local projcets are also inculuded in the program.
The course is created collaboratively by 10 European Institutes of Higher Education. Participants are enrolled in programs such as social work, public administration, human resource management, labor law, gender studies or social policy.
We expect around 80-120 participants from Bremen & Munich (Germany), Groningen (The Netherlands), Hasselt (Belgium), Leuven (Belgium), Málaga (Spain), Malta, Salzburg (Austria), Sibiu (Romania), Tallinn (Estonia) and Zurich (Switzerland). Working language is English. More important than your actual language skills are, however, an open, active and entrepreneurial mindset to make this international experience a success. Attendance at all events is compulsory. Accommodation costs in during the seminar are covered, travel costs (train) are to be covered by the students themselves.
