Learning Outcomes and Competencies The students should be able to
  • develop vegetation systems for green facades, rooftops, building interiors and terraces.
  • assess the environmental impact of integrating plants into buildings.
  • understand the construction and vegetation considerations for integrating plants into buildings and how this applies to their own project work.
  • source, analyse and interpret project principles, construction standards and guidelines.
  • assess the condition of existing green areas and measure ecosystem services.
  • evaluate the potential of buildings to connect with outdoor spaces and the surrounding area (promoting biodiversity and adapting to climate change).
  • plan and implement sustainable greening concepts.
