The students should be able to
develop vegetation systems for green facades, rooftops, building interiors and terraces.
assess the environmental impact of integrating plants into buildings.
understand the construction and vegetation considerations for integrating plants into buildings and how this applies to their own project work.
source, analyse and interpret project principles, construction standards and guidelines.
assess the condition of existing green areas and measure ecosystem services.
evaluate the potential of buildings to connect with outdoor spaces and the surrounding area (promoting biodiversity and adapting to climate change).
