Exam preparation 1: English B2 (First) (Online)
Kurzbeschreibung
This two-semester online course prepares participants for a B2 exam (First) and will take place in a digital learning environment (Moodle and video conference).The participants will be practising speaking, writing, reading and listening skills as well as expanding their vocabulary and use of English.
At the end of the course the participants should be able to take an internationally recognised exam (e.g. First).

Zielpublikum und Voraussetzungen
Staff and students of ZHAW and other people having B1 level competency in English. Entrance level: B1+ (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)

You should obtain at least 17 points on the following test:

Participants are expected to do some self-study outside the classroom and to take an active role in the classes.

The course concept requires the camera to be switched on during the course. A computer with webcam/camera and headset/microphone, a stable WLAN connection and a quiet place to learn are therefore required to participate in the online lessons.
