Exam preparation 2: English C2 (Proficiency) (Online)
Kurzbeschreibung
This online course is the second part of a two-semester course leading to the C2 exam (Proficiency). The four skills (listening, reading, writing, speaking) will be practised in accordance with exam requirements as well as vocabulary extension and advanced usage.
Ziele
  • The course prepares participants to take the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English. It could also be suitable preparation for an equivalent internationally-recognised exam at C2 level..

Zielpublikum und Voraussetzungen
Staff and students of ZHAW and other interested people having a good C1 level competency in English. Entrance level: C1+ (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)

Although this is only a quick, approximate evaluation, those ready for this course will probably score 23 points or more.

Part 1 and part 2 cover different topics in the course book and can be attended independently. The course forms the second part of a two-semester course at the end of which the participants should be able to take an internationally recognised exam.

Participants are expected to do work and self-study outside the classroom and take an active role during classes.

The course concept requires the camera to be switched on during the course. A computer with webcam/camera and headset/microphone, a stable WLAN connection and a quiet place to learn are therefore required to participate in the online lessons.
