Speaking and writing in English B2/C1 (Winterthur)
Kurzbeschreibung
Focusing on current affairs, popular culture, as well as topics related to the academic and professional world, this course not only aims to encourage lively discussions, but also to enable participants to write a variety of short texts such as essays, emails or other task-based assignments.
Ziele
Providing the opportunity to improve and consolidate one’s productive skills in English:
  • participate in pair and group discussions
  • practise pronunciation and expand vocabulary
  • draft, develop and improve texts with a focus on structuring, linking, lexical and grammatical accuracy
Zielpublikum und Voraussetzungen
Students and staff of the ZHAW/ZhdK and other interested people who want to improve their speaking and writing in a relaxed and motivating learning environment.
Entrance level: B2+ (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
You should score at least 20 points on the following test:

Participants are expected to do work and self-study outside the classroom and take an active role during classes.
