Kursbezeichnung
This online course will take place in a digital learning environment (Moodle and video conference). The learning objectives equal the objectives in a face-to-face course. This two-semester course prepares participants for a C1 exam (CAE). They will be practising listening, speaking, reading and writing skills as well as expanding their vocabulary and use of English. The course forms the second part of a two-semester course at the end of which the participants should be able to take an internationally recognised exam.
Ziele
The course prepares participants for a C1 exam (CAE). The costs for the exam are not included in the course fee.
Zielpublikum und Voraussetzungen
Staff and students of ZHAW/ZHdK and other interested people having a good B2 / C1 level competency in English may enrol.
Entrance level: B2+ (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
You should score at least 20 points on the following test:

Participants are expected to do work and self-study outside the classroom and take an active role during classes.
Part 1 and part 2 cover different topics in the course book and can be attended independently.
