Advanced Business English Workshop C1 (Online)
Kurzbeschreibung
This online course will take place in a digital learning environment (Moodle and video conference). The participants will be practising speaking, writing, reading and listening skills as well as expanding their vocabulary and use of English.
The main focus of the course will be on business English for management and finance. Ability to conduct small talk and formal business meetings with emphasis on cultural awareness. Moreover, formal and informal written communication (emails and reports). Practicing formal trend language by giving presentations and describing financial information on charts. Use of adverbs with trend language for more emphasis.

Zielpublikum und Voraussetzungen
Staff and students of ZHAW and other people having C1 level competency in English
Entrance level: B2+

You should obtain at least 20 points on the following test: http://www.cambridgeenglish.org/test-your-english/general-english/

Participants are expected to do work and self-study outside the classroom and to take an active role during classes.

The course concept requires the camera to be switched on during the course. A computer with webcam/camera and headset/microphone, a stable WLAN connection and a quiet place to learn are therefore required to participate in the online lessons.
