Entrance Requirements Industrial Systems 1
Learning Outcomes and Competencies Design and operation of piping and pumps for transporting liquids and solids.
An understanding of the function and use of steam, power, WFI, refrigeration, compressed air and vacuum generators, as well as how to maintain these during operation.
Module Content In the Industrial Systems 2 module, students gain an overview of flow conditions in technical systems and the way in which liquids and solids are supplied to industrial processes.
Furthermore, they learn the basics of supplying a company with electrical energy, water, WFI water, steam, refrigerants and compressed air as well as creating vacuums.
The students are given the opportunity to become more familiar with the function and design of pumps in practical exercises.
