Learning Outcomes and Competencies The elective modules ‘Tutorials 1-4’ are courses that students in semesters 1 to 4 can undertake in a small group setting, enabling them to take responsibility for their own learning and self-organisational skills under the guidance of more advanced students. They will work on topical problems.

Students in the higher semesters of study can choose the modules ‘Mentoring 1-2’ to assume this guidance role.

The small group activities will be initiated and supervised by the head of the study programme or by lecturers.
Module Content Current problems for study can include:
•    Support with subject-specific issues within the biotechnological curriculum in lectures and practicals - developing learning strategies
•    Support in general student life
