Entrance Requirements Fundamentals of Cell Biology, Biochemistry and Bioanalytics
Learning Outcomes and Competencies Students will:

understand the biomedical laboratory process and be able to explain individual steps using examples
become familiar with common preanalytical, analytical and postanalytical sources of errors, and be able to justify measures to prevent these
learn about selected medical conditions, their basic diagnostic pathways, as well as the fundamentals of the anatomy and pathophysiology of these conditions
become aware of examples of laboratory and point-of-care diagnostics, therapy monitoring and prognostics, and be able to justify their use
understand the advantages, disadvantages and limitations of available analytical methods, and be able to provide justifications for their choices.
