Learning Outcomes and Competencies The lecture series aims at enabling participants to understand the most important economic, ethical, and regulatory aspects of cell and tissue therapies. For this purpose, experienced experts from the industry will be consulted for selected topics.

  • Methods for demonstrating therapeutic efficacy 
  • Approval of cell and tissue therapeutics (practical experience report)
  • Application of CAR-T technology in patients: from development to approval (excursion to Novartis Stein)
  • The potential of organ-on-a-chip technology
  • Ethical aspects of cell and tissue therapy
