Learning Outcomes and Competencies After completing the module, students know the range of application of the most important chemical analysis methods. They are able to analyse these appropriately and interpret the results obtained.
Module Content Chemometrics is a chemical discipline that involves various mathematical and statistical methods to select measurement methods or to use them to further process the measurement data. Many of the chemometric techniques are long-known statistical or mathematical methods.
 
These methods include improving the quality of a signal and building useful models that predict the results of future measurements. They can also be used to extract information from chemical data or to ensure that the data we collect is suitable for our purposes.
