  • describe the pressing issues facing our food systems and their causes.
  • explain the evolution and key mechanisms of Swiss agricultural policy that have
  • resulted in the current framework.
  • assess the effectiveness of strategies like sufficiency, efficiency, and consistency in fostering sustainable food systems.
  • examine opportunities and limitations presented by various sustainable food system strategies, including agroecology, organic agriculture, circular systems, local food initiatives, or changes in consumer behaviour.
  • identify the role of human factors in driving changes in transformational processes, and understand the mechanisms that influence them, such as behavioural change.
