Learning outcomes and competencies
Students further develop their ability to communicate on the basis of insights from communication psychology and integrate the dimensions of humane and efficient communication into their own experience.
On the level of personal competences they consciously reflect on and design their own conversational behaviour, refine their perception of their partner in discussion situations and train their ability to discuss and argue about selected topics.
On the level of professional competence they acquire basic communication theory, are familiar with the main communication models, are aware of cognitive psychological phenomena in communication processes, and know the procedures used in selected business discussion situations.
On the level of methodological competence they are skilled in the analysis of discussion processes based on various communication models and consciously shape the roles in business discussion situations using their grasp of communication theory.
On the level of social competence they further develop their active listening and constructive feedback skills, reflect on the connection between a higher degree of communicative competence with the team and the ability to deal with criticism and conflict, and apply these skills in discussions, cooperative situations and presentations.
